Visit The Edouard Pecourt Collection in UCSB

The UCSB Library holds a very special tango treasure: Edouard Pecourt Collection.

One of the most complete public tango collections in the world is sitting right here, in Santa Barbara. An archive of the Tango Universe complete with recordings, video, LPs, CDs, magazines, music sheets, and more giving us a veritable map of what Tango is all about, and where it fits in the World of Music of the 20th Century. 

We are excited to be able to go visit the material and the wonderful scholar who is its guardian, David Seubert.

What: A behind-the-scenes tour of the UCSB Special Collection Library. 
Where: UCSB Library - Special Collections
When: Friday, January 12 at 4 pm

Park in Lot 16 or 18 (Campbell Hall) and make your way to the Paseo West Entrance
We will meet where my friend Jane Gottlieb's piece is displayed.
