Gather with friends to watch a movie

This marks the beginning of a cycle of Tango Movies intended to be shared with the tango community of Santa Barbara. For this inaugural showing, we have selected El Café de los Maestros, a documentary that showcases maestros from the golden era of tango.
The film was produced by Gustavo Santaolalla, the Argentine movie composer who has been honored with two consecutive Academy Awards for his exceptional original scores.
This movie represents his endeavor to both honor and learn about the history of Argentine Tango.

We will convene at 6 pm at Miss Daisy Consignment and Auction House.

Following the movie screening, we will head over to Magnética Studio for a session of sharing and dancing.
No prior dance experience is required. This event celebrates the time-honored tradition of coming together to enjoy movies, revel in good music, and partake in social dancing.
