Beethoven Tango... and more!

After the sensational success of Malena, Nomad Tango, Fernanda Ghi Dance and Selah Dance combine again to bring to you two views on Beethoven.

2027 will mark 200 years of Beethoven’s leaving this world, but he lives on in our imaginations and hearts. An intriguing character of not just classical music, but of music with passion, and compromise with world affairs, even his face, severe, intense, not even a hint of a smile, is etched in our memory.

Fernanda Ghi is premiering in Santa Barbara her much awaited Beethoven Tango, a piece based on an essay by Garcia Lorca on the influences on an artists, which he named The Angel, The Muse, and The “Duende”.

Meredith Ventura will take up the challenge and create her own expression on what moves here most of this great artist.

Followed by a reception in the tent.
